One Press, One Page: Five Ways to Use Our Clear Stamps
When our clear stamps arrived in August, we listed them by family. This time, a more practical question: what do you actually do with them on a page? Each idea below comes from the stamps themselves — what they were drawn for and how they print.
1 · Print the structure first
The layout stamps put down the bones of a page in one press, so you only have to fill it in.
- W1–W4 Weekly Planner Grid Stamp — four columns by seven rows with W1–W4 already engraved at the top: a month view, a habit tracker or a rota. £17 · 6.5 × 10 cm
- Dotted Grid Note Stamp (Perforated Edge) — a grid of dotted cells with a perforated tear edge, so the page reads like a ticket stub waiting to be filled in. £17 · 6 × 9.5 cm
- Modular Collage Grid Stamp — unevenly sized boxes arranged like a magazine grid, ready for writing, photos or colour. £17 · 5.5 × 10 cm
- Compass Rose & Observations Log Stamp — a compass dial, a ruler and a box headed “Observations” — a complete sheet for travel journals and nature notes. £19 · 7.5 × 17 cm
- Four-Panel Rectangle Grid Stamp (Comic / Animation Frames) — four equal panels stacked down the page, for schedules, checklists or collage blocks. £18 · 7.5 × 17 cm
2 · Frame what you write
Smaller frames give a heading, a date or a pasted photo somewhere to sit.
- Rectangle Frame Stamp — a thin-ruled box for dates, headings, prices or a photo; the fine rule stays quiet even over text. £10 · 5.8 × 3.5 cm
- Baroque Acanthus Flourish Stamps (Set of 2) — a pair of baroque flourishes: used mirrored, they frame headers, footers and corners. £10 · 3.5 × 2.5 cm
- Rose Vine Frame Layout Stamp — an oval wrapped in rose vines above two blank boxes — a ready-made card for postcards, menus and keepsakes. £17 · 6.5 × 10 cm
3 · Build a background
Full-bleed designs fill the whole stamp, so they print as a patch of texture rather than a single motif — a ground for everything else.
- Halftone Texture Abstract Stamp — an abstract halftone texture that tiles well when pressed repeatedly across a larger area, and takes other stamps printed over it. £15 · 5 × 5 cm
- Berry Vine Botanical Stamp — tangled berry vines for letter paper, wrapping paper and cards — or press only part of it as a small accent. £12 · 6 × 8 cm
4 · Turn it, repeat it, cut it
A few of the stamps are designed to be used in more than one way.
- Halftone Unicorn Photo Stamp — a square halftone block that can be pressed straight or turned to sit as a diamond. £15 · 5 × 5 cm
- Rose Branch Stamp — a tall rose branch for bookmarks, spines and envelope edges, or repeated in a row as a border. £13 · 3 × 6 cm
- Halftone Floral Specimen Stamp Set (9 Motifs) — nine halftone flowers on one plate: press it whole as a specimen page, or cut it down to use the motifs one by one. £15 · 5 × 5 cm
5 · Plan with the measurements
Every product page lists the stamp’s length and width in both centimetres and inches, so measure your page before you press. The range is wide: Four-Panel Rectangle Grid Stamp (Comic / Animation Frames) measures 7.5 × 17 cm, while Folk Floral Line-Art Stamp Set (6 Designs) is 2.5 × 2.5 cm — a small stamp can sit inside a box printed by a large one.
A note on price: Halftone Floral Specimen Stamp Set (9 Motifs), Baroque Acanthus Flourish Stamps (Set of 2) and Rectangle Frame Stamp are priced per single stamp.
